Mr. John G. Keeney has been the Managing Director of Research for Andrews International since 2009. He specializes in conducting due diligence investigations, FCPA and Patriot Act compliance investigations and business intelligence research.
Mr. John G. Keeney has managed, coordinated and supervised investigations in over 120 countries in preparation of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other investment/business opportunities. Mr. Keeney plays a key role in helping clients mitigate risks, protect assets and intellectual property, and make informed business decisions.
Prior to joining AI, Mr. Keeney began his career in private industry in 1998, serving as a field investigator for a top tier international investigation firm until its acquisition by SPX Corporation in 2001. Mr. Keeney stayed on with SPX’s Consulting and Investigations division, which was acquired by the Canadian security and consulting company Garda in 2005.
Mr. Keeney left Garda in 2006 to venture out on his own. On a subcontracting basis over the next two years, he provided consulting and research services to the security and investigations industry, private clients and law firms. Mr. Keeney returned to Garda in late 2007 and was appointed Managing Director of Research. He served in that role until 2009, when the company was acquired by AI.
From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Keeney served as a Paralegal for the Investigations Bureau in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. In that capacity, he played an integral role in a specialized trial program which focused on vigorous prosecution in cases involving the attempted murder of New York City Police Officers. Mr. Keeney also assisted in the enhancement of numerous New York City Police Department investigations, many of which were high profile.
Mr. Keeney received his Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Criminal Justice from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts in 1993, where he minored in Business Administration.
