Ted runs Operations for Redpoint and manages the company’s worldwide risk, including all client and member evacuation, response and consulting services as well as Redpoint’s 24/7/365 call center capability.
Ted Muhlner is a founding partner of Redpoint Resolutions LLC - a company focused on providing travel insurance, medical and security evacuation and crisis management services to corporations, insurance companies as well as to individuals and families worldwide. He runs Operations for Redpoint and manages the company’s worldwide risk, including all client and member evacuation, response and consulting services as well as Redpoint’s 24/7/365 call center capability.
Muhlner graduated from Stanford University and began his career in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. While in Japan, he served as the Operations Officer on a United States Warship deployed throughout Asia and the Persian Gulf. Following this tour, Muhlner transferred to the Naval Special Warfare community, graduated Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL Training (BUD/s) and became a Navy SEAL. As a SEAL Officer, he deployed to the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia and served as the Operations Officer of a SEAL Team. Muhlner left the Navy to attend the Harvard Business School. After receiving his Masters in Business Administration, he worked in Investment Banking with JP Morgan before co-founding a Security consulting firm, Tacitum Solutions, which was subsequently acquired by a medical evacuation company.
Iliyas has also been heavily involved in auditing various compliance related concerns for US and EU based clients to ensure compliance with the various regulatory standards that apply to their industry / business sectors.
Muhlner grew up in California and is an Eagle Scout. He is married with two young daughters and lives in San Francisco. Muhlner serves as an Ambassador of the Navy SEAL Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the Naval Special Warfare Community. He is also an organizer of the Navy SEAL Tribute, a West Coast fundraiser benefiting the Foundation.
